Inspired by the radio series, Last Chance to See, that followed Douglas Adams and Mark Cawardine’s quest to find endangered animals, the BBC Two TV series, saw Stephen Fry join Mark Cawardine to follow in their footsteps, 20 years later. This TV and online launch campaign featured Stephen telling the story of the species they seek and integrated live action and animation to create a magical journey for the viewer, attracting 4 million to the first episode.
