The goal of the The Marine Foundation (themarinefoundation.org) is to safeguard a healthy ocean for all future generations. ‘Living Sculptures in the Sea’ combines art and science to create artificial reefs proven to regenerate marine ecosystems that have been damaged or destroyed, in turn generating an underwater tourist attraction that helps support local communities. SB3 Digital created this film as a celebration of the projects so far and the most recent installation of Apsara, helping to raise awareness and attract sponsors to help fund further projects. The film was shown by the Founder of The Marine Foundation as part of Sustainability Week hosted by The Hospital Club.

Tudors at the Tower Family Festival
The Learning & Engagement team at Historic Royal Palaces commissioned SB3 Digital to create two videos to showcase the Tudors at the Tower Family Festival in celebration of the Coronation of Anne Boleyn in 1533. Prior to the festival, primary school children, elders and a youth group all contributed by creating pictures and photography brought to life by Aardman Animation. The animations featured in the festival’s very own Pop Up Palace for all visitors to enjoy. The contributors and the festival itself were captured over a two day shoot. The video, featured here, is a shorter version for online purposes of the main presentation film, used to promote the idea of a Tudors festival tour across the UK. The graphics use a Tudor font but with a contemporary twist firmly placing the festival in the present day.

Last Chance to See
Inspired by the radio series, Last Chance to See, that followed Douglas Adams and Mark Cawardine’s quest to find endangered animals, the BBC Two TV series, saw Stephen Fry join Mark Cawardine to follow in their footsteps, 20 years later. Cartoonito
The objective was to raise awareness of this pre school channel showing parents/carers that Cartoonito is a trusted and fun destination.
Casting children aged between 4-6 years could guarantee captivating, endearing and wildly imaginative storytelling typical of this age group. Natural, unscripted performances that engaged the viewer were essential – not seeming contrived, integral. The animated element added an extra touch of magic to bring their storytelling to life. The results surpassed expectation with an 85% recall rate amongst the target group and an instant rise in viewers.
‘The campaign launched late in the year and was considered by our VP as campaign of the year, testament to Sally and her team’s hard work to bring the concept to life in an original way. Its authenticity captured the attention of both parents and pre-schoolers and raised awareness of Cartoonito as a trusted destination full of characters loved by its audience.’

Ovarian Cancer Action
The charity Ovarian Cancer Action commissioned this video to help raise awareness of the symptoms of Ovarian Cancer, a disease that kills a woman every two hours. The video is used for presentation purposes at fund raising events and online at ovarian.org.uk and Facebook.
‘I worked with Sally when I asked BDA Creative to pitch for the job of creating a short film for Ovarian Cancer Action. The ideas and scripts she presented were of a much higher standard than the other reputable parties that were pitching. Sally inspired me with confidence that she would deliver something special. She was a great listener and you could tell from the outset she took great pride in her work.’

kidrated.com
kidrated.com is for parents with kids and teens looking for the best things to do in London and beyond. The website design included banners for signposting both within the site and on other platforms plus the creation of the static and animated logo which bookends all the films on the website. Since it launched the site has consistently grown a large following and is one of the top guides for parents. Following the refresh of the brand the logo animation that features on all the video testimonials also needed an update with new colours, new logo and new London iconography.
‘Sally and I met in our respective roles at the BBC many years ago. She has always instilled me with the confidence that she will deliver work of the highest standard and was an obvious choice for us when it came to the branding and creative direction of the website, logo creation, animation and banners. We couldn’t be happier with the result and the continued praise from our audience says it all.’
